We chose Punta Maroma because the sea has always made us feel connected to something bigger. On this quiet beach, with its soft white sand and crystal-clear water, time slows down a little: there is peace, there is silence, and that feeling of being completely present.

This isn't the first time the sea has marked an important moment in our story. We got engaged on a beach in Iceland, surrounded by black sand and a completely different landscape, but with that same feeling of being exactly where we were meant to be.

The sea also reminds us of our childhood and connects us with our dads, each in his own way: Max's dad loves to go fishing, and mine was an Olympic swimmer. The sea is where we feel him closest. That's why we decided to get married by the sea, in a place that fills us with gratitude, respect, and closeness that's hard to put into words.

We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else, or celebrating this moment with anyone but the people we love most. Now, in Punta Maroma, the same sea that makes us feel so present will witness the moment our lives become one forever.
